Its alright for some?

Have you ever looked at someone and thought “its all right for them?” They have more courage or they had a better upbringing.
I had many of these thoughts and also had the evidence of low self courage and a fun upbringing that confirmed my beliefs.

There are two things to make it alright for you too:
1 The belief that it is alright for you too!
2 Do the work that creates the results.
To live a fulfilling life we must learn to take every thought into captivity and choose if it is worth nurturing the thought or letting it go.
The thought that it was alright for them and not for me was not supportive of my dreams. I had dreams with an “its all right for THEM” attitude. I did not have the belief that it was alright for me.
Thoughts go through our mind daily and it is one of the things we have to manage to live a happy fulfilling life.
It’s been two years since we moved to the mountains. It till feels surreal that my front yard is mountains as far as the eyes can see.
How did we get here I ask myself?
Something that Arnold Schwarzenegger said is “work, works”!
That’s how we got here, my husband Joel and I got here by work. We did the work and earned ourselves a mountain farm!
We worked in the IGA industry for our first 15 years of marriage and property investing got us here.
We made it 22 years of marriage by doing the work. Yes marriage takes work too, forgiveness takes work and loving takes work. Marriage experiences all sorts of challenges. Marriage can have a lot of hurt and a lot of fun, it all takes work, if you want your marriage to work…work on it.
I learnt how to sell high ticket offers that took a lot of work.
Selling was a new skill for me to learn. It challenged my self esteem greatly, along with my self worth, confidence and courage.
I used to sweat and it was not very feminine. The fear of phone sales was real. We ended up calling it the sweat of success because I would smell the room out with success sweat which was fear sweat. Now I find sales fun and want to do more. I did the work to conquer my fear of sales. Was it hard? Yes! Was it worth the work? Yes!
If you see someone with a lifestyle or result that you want, know that they did the work to get there and you can too.
You may need to work on yourself first or your mindset and then move onto the skillset. Either way when you do the work you will reap the rewards.
Questions to ask yourself to create a fulfilling life.
- What do I really want out of life?
- Is there a new skill set to learn or a challenge to master?
- How will I feel once I master this skill or take this challenge.
Work…works! If you do the work.
Do you want to work on yourself?
I created Journey of Self because working on myself was the greatest gift I ever gave myself.
Journey of Self is a course to explore who you are and what you want so you can do the work. You can learn more about it here: https://www.victoryannlord.com/courses/journey-of-self
